Keeping It Faux Real In A Black Faux Leather Skirt & Faux Fur Gilet
Most Personal Style bloggers at the moment are having style-gasms over the fact that Spring has supposedly Sprung. Well for me, the weather may be heating up, but it’s still cold enough where I need to wear a polo neck underneath my clothes, and I’m still reaching for my winter pieces to warm me up. After my last Go For Colour post, I thought I’d go the opposite way this week with an All Black ensemble, I’m just ker-azeeeee (erm, crazy) like that.
This Spring, I’m going to do a lot of experimenting with leather skirts with different lengths and silhouettes. I’ve bought a couple recently which I can’t wait to show you, but till then here is one of my ‘old’ favourites: my Topshop faux leather skirt.
I normally wear skirts with an A-line silhouette, so this straight-ish fit was a real detour for me in the style department. I love the way it makes me walk differently and gives me new ways I can wear pieces.
Style Tip: With the seasons currently transitioning, a gilet plays a key role if you need to layer your pieces.
One of the things I love about Berlin is that it seems the city was just made for photo shoots. These pics were taken by my good friend, Patricia, and she suggested we take some shots under this bridge, that happened to be a stone throw from her flat. Looking at the final results, she made a solid cal, I love the backdrop of the bridge in these shots.
Which locations around your place are inspiring you at the moment?
Have a good week and Thanks for reading! Bisous
