I’m lucky to be in a place where I’m experiencing the peak of summer right now and would like to look like a boho chic goddess. Well you came to the right place, I have been watching reruns of The Rachel Zoe Project and even though its grey and gloomy skies in Berlin, I’m in a luxe boho L.A state of mind. So much so, that I created this flatlay to pay tribute to the Stylist of Stylists-Rachel Zoe-, often pictures speak louder than words so feast your eyes on these boho-inspired accessories.
From your wording, I understand that you want easy tips on how to get a boho look using accessories and I have a few ideas for you.
Quick tips on how to accessorize, Boho Style
- Oversized sunglasses- this is one of the most important accessories you must have if you want to even attempt the boho look. In fact, if you just wore your paisley print maxi and a killer pair of vintage-inspired oversized sunglasses, you’ll already be half way towards nailing this look.
- Jewellery- there are so many ways to go with this but first things first, I would focus on necklaces and I believe you have 2 options here. As my flatlay demonstrates, you can wear one long necklace with a boho-inspired pendant or you can layer a couple of long ethnic-inspired necklaces as Rachel Zoe has below. Also note that colours and textures are key here- look out for turquoise, colourful beads and stones etc. P.s if one of your necklaces actually grazes your belly button, then you are onto a winner.
3. Your arm candy will also help you seal the deal. You wanted quick tips, so in a nutshell I’ll say- go fringe/tassels and suede. And for an A* in Bohology, why not tie a silk print Pucci-inpired around your bag handle?

4. For footwear go brown, tan or nude and if you can get sandals with eclectic embellishments go for it! If you want to add a bit of height to your frame- chunky platforms is how you adorn your feet boho style.
Finally, I’ll say hair and makeup are vital finishing touches for the boho chic look- keep both as natural looking as possible.
Now go forth and be Boho Fabulous!
